The Critical Care Advanced Practice Provider (CCAPP) postgraduate fellowship is a 12-month post-graduate training program focused on preparing you for a successful career in critical care medicine. Your training will include parallel clinical and didactic curriculums which will provide you with a solid foundation in the management of critically ill medical and surgical patients.
The Accreditation Review Commission on 教育 for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA) has granted Accreditation-Clinical Postgraduate Program status to the Critical Care Advanced Practice Provider 研究员hip sponsored by Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center.

The mission of the CCAPP 研究员hip is to prepare clinically outstanding, certified Physician Assistants and Acute Care Nurse Practitioners to practice critical care medicine as members of a multi-professional team with a high degree of professionalism, competency and curiosity.

- A diverse critical care education
- A strong proctored clinical experience
- Procedural education
- Didactic curriculum aimed at fostering critical thinking, leadership and lifelong learning in the practice of multidisciplinary critical care medicine.
Values and guiding principles
The values and guiding principles of the CCAPP 研究员hip include:
- Evidence-based training in critical care medicine.
- 能力, learner-oriented curriculum centered around the clinical and systems-based knowledge, 技能, and professional conduct required to provide high quality care to the critically ill patient.
- Creation of a collegial, team-centered Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
- Development of a consistent, reliable ACNP/PA who possesses the basic knowledge and 技能 in critical care medicine needed to provide quality care
- To create and sustain an ACNP/PA training program incorporating multiple ICU settings
- Compassionate, ethical treatment for the critically ill
- Development and involvement of a supportive and knowledgeable CCAPP 研究员hip faculty
Credential awarded
Upon successful completion of the CCAPP Residency program, participants will receive a certificate of completion issued by the program, signed by the Medical Director, 项目负责人, and participating faculty.

CCAPP 居民 will be paid a competitive stipend over the 12 months of the program, and are eligible for full, comprehensive benefits provided by us. The residency program provides educational materials including protective loupes, 实验室外套, 教科书, 施舍, and Internet access while in one of our facilities.
Over 150 hours of Category 1 CME are available for free throughout the year by participating in or attending lectures, 会议, 会诊, 还有杂志俱乐部.
